Hi! I am Jakub Vokaty. Project Manager, Student and IT Enthusiast.
I am a Swiss and Czech national currently finishing my degree in International Affairs at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. In the course of my studies I was fortunate enough to accumulate experiences as a project manager for IT projects and in event management, where I discovered my passion for it.
During my free time I like to cook, tinker on my server, watch movies and tv shows and I am trying to read more books.

After being active in the Model United Nations community for over two years and having attended numerous conferences, I was given the opportunity by the president of the St. Gallen Model United Nations Society to form a team with the purpose of organizing the inaugural MUN conference in St. Gallen.
Besides my responsibilities as the project manager I was also responsible for setting up and maintaining the IT infrastructure, establishing partnerships with other conferences as well as parts of our marketing campaign.
The inaugural conference was successfully held in November 2017, followed by a 2nd edition in 2018 while the preparations for the 3rd edition are currently underway.

As part of the IT Evolution" team I have successfully worked on improving both the physical and digital infrastructure of the SHSG. We were the driving force behind the relaunch of the SHSG website, bringing the projects from its concepts to completions, during which my responsibilities were the development of the new site structure and feature catalogue amongst others. After the completion I took on most of the IT hardware projects of the SHSG as well as further improving the new website.
